Sony announced at Gamescom a new expansion for Infamous 2, titled Festival of Blood, that pits Cole MacGrath against vampires. The brief trailer sown at Sony’s press conference shows Cole as a Vampire and feeding on a human before he lunges at the camera.
Sony Europe’s senior VP Michael Denny announced after the trailer that Festival of Blood will be a new game available in the PlayStation Store, but not clarify if it is DLC or a standalone title.
Festival of Blood is set in New Marina, where vampires have taken over and Cole has become one of the victims. Cole has one night to search and destroy the head vampire, and rid himself and New Marina of the vampire curse.
Infamous 2: Festival of Blood will release this October.
