“Gun Fu” Action Game Spine Showcased at Gamescom

After a gameplay teaser back in March, gun fu action game Spine returned to the Future Games Show at Gamescom with a new gameplay trailer that showcases the cinematics, parkour, and fast-paced action the game will offer. Currently in development by Nekki, Spine is set in a cyberpunk world and stars a street artist named Redline who works with a sentient combat implant called Spine.

Its presentation and combat and inspired by action movies, and the new trailer also includes our first taste of the soundtrack composed by Le Castle Vania, whose music appears in the John Wick series, among others.

Spine is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and is expected to release in late 2025.
