During the Future Games Show at Gamescom presentation, publisher Twin Sails Interactive and developers Lazy Bear Games and Different Sense Games announced that Bloomtown: A Different Story will be released on September 24. This RPG blends slice-of-life gameplay in a 1960s American suburb with monster-taming turn-based combat as a demon world emerges beneath the surface of the seemingly peaceful town.
Inspired by games like Persona and Earthbound, the game follows two siblings as they investigate the mysterious disappearances in town. Activities include gardening, working at the grocery store, exercising at the gym, and more. Players will also weaken demons through combat to capture them and create their own team.
Lazy Bear Games previously developed Graveyard Keeper, among others. Bloomtown: A Different Story will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
