Square Enix has revealed 12 Eidolons that will be available to summon in the upcoming Final Fantasy Explorers, including two entirely new ones. Alongside iconic summons such as Shiva and Alexander, players will be able to summon the entirely new Eidolons, Dryad and Amaterasu.
Once players defeat an Eidolon in battle, the Eidolons will be available to summon while the player is in “Trance Mode”, an ability that also allows players to transform into legendary Final Fantasy characters like Cloud and Lightning.
Final Fantasy Explorers will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on January 26th. For more information, check out the game’s Square Enix Online Shop page here.
