Square Enix has announced that The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will launch on June 18, 2026. Physical and digital pre-orders are available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, with physical editions also confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2. Digital pre-orders on Nintendo Switch 2 will open at a later date.
Pre-Order Bonuses and Special Editions Detailed
Players who pre-order either the digital or physical edition will receive Elliot’s Departure Pack, which includes bonus items designed to give players an early advantage. These include the Departure Brooch accessory, increasing currency and Magicite fragment drops, along with an Attack Up sword Magicite. A Digital Deluxe Edition is also available, featuring exclusive accessories such as the Fairy Bangle, Cherry Blossom Anklet, and Roselle Ring.
For collectors, a physical Collector’s Edition will be sold exclusively through the Square Enix Store. This version includes the base game, an original soundtrack, and a Faie desk clock statue.
A Time-Spanning Action RPG Adventure
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales follows Elliot and his companion Faie as they journey across a vast world spanning four distinct ages. Along the way, players will explore ancient ruins, uncover hidden caves, and battle waves of enemies. Elliot can wield seven different weapon types, from traditional swords to chains and sickles, offering creative combat options. Each weapon can be customized using Magicite to suit different playstyles.
Faie plays a key role both in and out of combat, using powerful magic to attack enemies, assist with exploration, and retrieve hard-to-reach items.
Demo Feedback Shapes Final Release
Based on player feedback from the Debut Demo currently available on Nintendo Switch 2, Square Enix has implemented several refinements. These include faster movement speed for Elliot, improvements to the weapon shortcut menu, and additional difficulty options. More details on these updates will be shared via the official website ahead of launch.
