Okhlos Brings You to a Truly Realistic Ancient Greece

Coffee Powered Machine has released a new trailer for Okhlos, giving players a look at their 100% historically accurate version of ancient Greece. Players will be dropped into ancient Greece at its peak, full of merciless gods, irate mobs, and gratuitous togas.

Okhlos has players assemble mobs of citizens, soldiers, livestock, and more as they slay ancient beasts and vengeful gods. Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker commented on the game’s wild setting:

“Okhlos is a fitting tribute to people of ancient Greece that gave us the amazing gifts of democracy, video games, and unrestrained mob violence. Also, gyros.”

Okhlos will be released for PC, Mac, and Linux on August 18th. For more information, check out the trailer above, as well as the game’s official website here. On the official site, potential players will be able to vote for how high a discount the game will have in its launch week, ranging from 5% off to 15%.
