Upcoming roguelike title Loot Rascals has a release date of March 7 for PS4 and PC, developer Hollow Ponds has announced. The indie game features very slick animation, with development team members’ backgrounds including work on the game Hohokum and animated series Adventure Time.
Hollow Ponds has styled Loot Rascals on retro sci-fi and british humor, with the team itself hailing from England, Scotland and Canada. The game features turn-based roguelike gameplay with card-based abilities, with players setting out to save their “robot pal Big Barry from the clutches of a horrible wobbly space demon with loads of tentacles,” according to Hollow Ponds.
The polish of the visuals and gameplay look promising, keep an eye out for Loot Rascals on the Steam store and the PlayStation Store come March 7. Cost is set at $15 USD.
