Bandai Namco has finally announced the release date for the latest addition to the critically acclaimed Tekken franchise, Tekken 7. Set to launch for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 2nd, Tekken 7 will have a Collector’s Edition, a Digital Deluxe version, and a number of pre-order bonuses and DLC packs.
The Collector’s Edition of Tekken 7 will include the game, a 12” tall by 18” wide statue of Kazuya fighting Heihachi mid-air, a special Steelbook, and the game’s official soundtrack.
The Deluxe Edition will include the game and the Season Pass, which will give players three content packs set to include new playable characters, new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack.
Players who pre-order will receive Eliza as a playable character, while Xbox One players will also receive a free digital copy of Tekken 6 through backwards compatibility. Playstation owners will have exclusive access to legacy costumes for King, Xiaoyu and Jin from Tekken 2 and Tekken 4, as well as an exclusive jukebox mode that lets players listen to and fight to tracks from throughout the Tekken series.
