Bandai Namco Entertainment America has announced that Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on May 22, 2026, bringing the award-winning action RPG and its expansive story DLC to Nintendo’s newest platform in one complete package.
Originally released in 2021 and widely praised across the industry, Tales of Arise earned RPG of the Year honors and quickly became one of the most celebrated entries in the long-running Tales of franchise. The Beyond the Dawn Edition includes the full base game alongside the Beyond the Dawn expansion, which adds more than 20 hours of additional story content, plus extra costumes and in-game items.
A Journey to Break Fate and Free Dahna
Tales of Arise follows the intertwined destinies of Alphen and Shionne, two individuals born in different worlds who unite to liberate the planet Dahna after 300 years of brutal oppression under the rule of Rena. As their journey unfolds, players explore vast and visually striking regions, confront powerful enemies, and unravel the truth binding the two worlds together.
