Elden Ring Finally Gets a Gameplay Reveal

After what’s felt like ages for fans of the soulsborne genre, Elden Ring finally received a gameplay reveal at today’s Summer Game Fest. From Software and Bandai Namco took to the show to give viewers a long-awaited look at how Elden Ring will play. Swordplay and magic are used throughout the reveal, giving players an idea of how Elden Ring will compare to titles like Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Some of the game’s creature designs were also shown-off, with many of them appearing to be impressively freaky-looking.

If that wasn’t enough, a release date was also given. Elden Ring is currently set to release for the PS4 and Xbox One on January 21st, 2022.
