The Game Awards 2023 included the surprise announcement of Visions of Mana, a new entry in Square Enix’s Mana series and the first mainline entry made for the series in over 15 years. This action RPG will be out in 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It stars Val, a “soul guard” protecting his childhood friend on a journey to the Tree of Mana.
According to Square Enix’s official announcement post, Visions of Mana will feature a semi-open field to explore and fast-paced party combat, intended to return to its roots while providing a fresh experience. A beautiful new piece of art has also been unveiled alongside the game.
More information will be revealed in 2024.
