Square Enix and Deck Nine Games surprised fans during the Xbox Games Showcase with the reveal of a new entry in the Life is Strange series, Life is Strange: Double Exposure. It follows the protagonist of the first game, Max Caulfield, as she attempts to use her powers again years later to save the life of her friend Safi, only to be transported to a parallel timeline instead. Max must shift between the two timelines to solve and prevent Safi’s murder.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 29, with a Switch release also planned. Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions will be available, with preorders of the Ultimate Edition getting early access to the first two chapters on October 15.
