Digital Eclipse, under license from Hasbro, has announced that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is getting a physical release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on May 30, 2025. Fans can now pre-order the game in both Standard and Collector’s Editions, ensuring they get their hands on this retro-inspired beat ‘em up in a tangible form.

Alongside the $34.99 Standard Edition, fans can grab the $49.99 Collector’s Edition, which includes:

  • Steelbook case
  • Exclusive retail box and cover
  • Poster featuring original artwork
  • 3D lenticular postcard

A Retro Beat ‘Em Up Blast from the Past

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a love letter to ‘90s arcade gaming, blending handcrafted pixel art, a guitar-driven soundtrack, and classic side-scrolling combat. Players fight through waves of Putty Patrollers, General Goldar, and other classic villains while experiencing a mix of 2D brawler action, 3D sequences, and multiplayer Megazord battles.

Multiplayer Modes:

  • Up to 6 players in local and online co-op (except PlayStation, which supports up to 4 players).
  • Future gameplay and online improvements coming soon from Digital Eclipse.
