After years of waiting, mecha fans in the West are finally getting another dose of tactical robot warfare. Bandai Namco has announced Super Robot Wars Y, the next entry in the beloved crossover strategy RPG series, set to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
This marks a major return for the Super Robot Wars franchise to Western audiences, following the success of Super Robot Wars 30. Once again, players will command legendary mecha from a variety of anime series in a battle to determine the fate of the world.
