Everstone Studio has confirmed that its highly anticipated open-world Wuxia action-RPG, Where Winds Meet, will release globally in 2025. Ahead of its full launch, the studio is hosting a second Closed Beta Test (CBT) for players on PC and PlayStation 5, beginning May 16. Registration is now live for players in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Korea.
An Open-World Wuxia Adventure Rooted in History and Fantasy
Set during the tumultuous Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period of Chinese history, Where Winds Meet casts players as a wandering sword master seeking answers to their mysterious past. Drawing inspiration from classic Wuxia tales, the game blends historical drama with fantasy action and martial arts mystique.
Players will explore a vast, seamless open world — from sprawling cities and remote villages to shadowy caves and towering cliffs — all steeped in cultural richness and visual splendor.
Dynamic Combat and Deep Customization
Combat in Where Winds Meet is inspired by Eastern martial arts traditions, with a broad selection of weapon types and skill styles. Players can wield swords, dual blades, spears, glaives, umbrellas, and fans — each with its own rhythm and tactical depth.
Martial arts techniques like Lion’s Roar, Acupuncture Hitting, and Tai Chi can be unlocked and upgraded, allowing for deep combat customization as players refine their fighting style.
