ATLUS and SEGA are taking the Persona 5 universe in a bold new direction with the announcement of Persona5: The Phantom X, a standalone spin-off set in a mysterious version of Tokyo where desires have vanished. The game is set to launch on PC and mobile devices on June 26, 2025, and features a brand-new protagonist, an original crew of Phantom Thieves, and the signature blend of stylish turn-based combat and high school life simulation the series is known for.
Live the Double Life—Again
In Persona5: The Phantom X, players will once again split their time between attending school by day and exploring the depths of corrupted cognition by night. New activities, side stories, and mini-games add variety to student life, while the Phantom Thief missions offer fresh dungeons and Persona fusion systems to dive into.
Highlights include:
- A brand-new Phantom Thieves squad with all-original characters and Personas
- New palaces and side dungeons, plus a PvE mode called The Velvet Trials
- The Guild system lets players interact with others online
- Synergy system for building deep bonds with characters and unlocking story content
