NC America announced at Summer Games Fest today that Blade & Soul Heroes would be making it’s global debut this September. Along with Blade & Soul Heroes though, NC America also announced that Blade & Soul NEO, the remaster of the classic MMORPG Blade & Soul would receive a new character class, the Warlock.
That’s a good lookin’ trailer. Blade & Soul Heroes is being announced as a free-to-play collectible action MMORPG. Boasting the ability to change combat styles between real-time and turn-based combat, Blade & Soul Heroes should offer a fairly unique MMORPG experience. Likewise, the game includes characters from the original Blade & Soul which should entrance long-time fans.
Blade & Soul Heroes Key Features

Blade & Soul Heroes is aiming for a global launch this September making the game available in 185 countries for PC via Steam and PURPLE, as well as Android and iOS. Blade & Soul Heroes will be a free-to-play game. Pre-Registration begins today with rewards including a unique outfit, weapon skin for the character Yusol, a refined soul hero gem, 10 hero recruit plaques, and a 100,000 gold pouch.
Blade & Soul NEO’s New Warlock Class
Along with the announcement of the new game Blade & Soul Heroes came an update announcement for Blade & Soul NEO with the Warlock class. The Warlock class is a medium-range caster class that allows the player to play with charms and incantations to unleash powerful attacks. The warlock’s connection to the Spirit Realm gives players the ability to barrage enemies, strengthen allies, and summon a demon that fights alongside them.
Notable unique skills include “Soul Shackle”, which creates spectral chains that bind targets in place, and “Dragoncall,” which takes a while to cast but deals massive amounts of damage when it hits. Warlock’s quiver of defensive abilities includes “Quell” (which creates a quick, energy shield that blocks incoming attacks) and “Repulse”, a follow up skill that pushes opponents further away. NC America will bring more info to players closer to launch on Tuesday, June 24.
