At the Future Games show, publisher Blumhouse Games unveiled two upcoming horror games. First is Crisol: Theater of Idols, from Vermila Studios. Set in Hispania, a nightmare version of Spain, it combines first-person shooter gameplay with survival horror. Players will need to use their own blood as ammunition, causing every shot to drain their health.
It will be out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year.
The second game is Sleep Awake, from developer Eyes Out, founded by game designer Cory Davis and Robin Finck from Nine Inch Nails. It is a first-person psychedelic horror game in which people who sleep mysteriously disappear. It features death cults, otherworldly forces, and dangerous experiments in order to stay awake.
Sleep Awake will be out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026.
