Mecha Break, the stylish and chaotic multiplayer mech third-person shooter from Amazing Seasun Games, officially launches on July 1 for PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S. Ahead of release, CEO and Executive Producer Kris Kwok hosted a livestream outlining some of the biggest changes and additions players can expect when they suit up this summer.
The updates are heavily based on player feedback from the game’s February Open Beta, and show a clear effort to address community concerns while adding even more depth to the mech brawling experience.
Every Mech, From the Start
In a big win for fans, all 12 playable mechs (or “Strikers”) will be available and unlocked for free at launch. No grinding, no paywalls—just pick your favorite mech and get into the fight.
Mashmak Mode Revamped
Mashmak, the PvE-focused mode, is seeing major tweaks for replayability and challenge. Players can now choose from three difficulty levels—Regular, Difficult, and Challenging—each offering distinct boss fights, missions, and airdrop loot. Expect new enemy types, weapons, and mission structures that keep the mode feeling fresh and unpredictable.
Customize Your Pilot, Freely
Character customization is now completely free and unlimited. Players can adjust their pilot’s hairstyle, makeup, and body shape at any time without spending a dime. Even more cosmetic options are planned for future updates.
Explore and Personalize the Hangar
The game’s social hub, the Hangar, is getting a big upgrade. Players will now be able to explore new spaces like the medical room, the restroom, and the canteen, interact with NPCs, and take photos with their mechs. In a future update, you’ll even be able to invite friends to visit your Hangar.
Mods Rebalanced, New Maps Incoming
To maintain competitive balance, mods have been removed from 3v3 and 6v6 PvP modes. They’ll still be available in Mashmak for loadout experimentation. Meanwhile, new maps—including space and underwater-themed arenas—will be available at launch, adding environmental variety to the chaos.
More Reveals Coming June 22
