Hello Kitty Island Adventure is heating up for summer with two major content drops: the return of the fan-favorite Sunshine Celebration across all platforms and the 2.7 “City Classics” update available now on Apple Arcade, with Nintendo Switch and PC players getting the update soon. It’s a great time to dive back into the Sanrio-inspired life sim, whether you’re customizing your house, helping friends, or just soaking up the sun.
Sunshine Celebration Returns – All Platforms
Starting July 10, the beach is the place to be. Players can join Badtz-maru and the rest of the gang in celebrating the return of summer. From colorful shirts and big floppy hats to sunscreen scavenger hunts, the event is packed with tropical clothing, furniture, and other beach-ready rewards.
Grab your surfboard and hit the sand—there’s plenty of limited-time goodies to earn before the celebration ends.
Update 2.7 “City Classics” – Apple Arcade Now, Coming Soon to Switch and PC
The 2.7 update is the next major content drop for Hello Kitty Island Adventure on Apple Arcade, with Switch and PC (Steam) versions getting the update soon. The big focus? New side quests, fresh furniture, and a deeper dive into the bustling streets of City Town.
Here’s what’s new:
- My Melody’s Interior Design Drama: Help My Melody find fabulous furniture, and follow Kuromi on a pirate-themed treasure hunt to unlock two stylish furniture sets.
- Retsuko’s Rock Rebellion: Retsuko wants to form a band, but her mom has other ideas. Join her to support her dream and maybe help her find her voice.
- Tsunoda’s Photo Mission: Assist Tsunoda in snapping the perfect shot of Friendship Island’s iconic landmarks.
You’ll also find new City Town-themed souvenirs, like mugs, t-shirts, and snowglobes, and can even open your own tourist kiosk. As always, there are more mysteries to uncover on the island if you know where to look.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and Apple Arcade, with frequent seasonal events and updates planned throughout the year.
