Infinity Nikki’s next chapter arrives in Version 1.8: Danqing Season, launching July 30 and running through September 2. This seasonal update transports players to Danqing Island. In this dreamlike new region, ink and myth converge, setting the stage for an elegantly crafted journey inspired by traditional Chinese painting and folklore.
The update’s official trailer is now live, showcasing the region’s serene bamboo forests, watercolor peaks, and shimmering lakes—all rendered in a breathtaking visual style reminiscent of ancient art scrolls.
A Living Painting with Secrets Beneath the Surface
Nikki and Momo’s adventure begins when mysterious ripples in the Sea of Stars lead them to an untouched scroll—and a portal to Danqing Island. Guided by the enigmatic Seer, players will traverse this secluded world, uncovering its hidden past and the strange disappearances affecting its peaceful villagers.
Danqing Island is more than a pretty backdrop—it’s a place where ink becomes matter and art has power. Players will restore objects rendered in ink with the help of a new Ability outfit and immerse themselves in seasonal activities like playing Weiqi (Go), bamboo rafting, and taking beautifully framed photos using classic Chinese design filters.
Face the Inkshade Dragon and Unlock Stunning New Outfits
A centerpiece of Danqing Season is the Inkshade: Painting Loong boss fight. As part of the island’s ancient protective ritual, Nikki must awaken the spirit of the White Dragon—only to discover dark forces are corrupting it. This climactic encounter blends artistry and action in a way only Infinity Nikki can deliver.
Three exquisite outfits debut in this update:
- Clouded Loong (5-star): A regal design that lets Nikki summon a soaring white dragon, inspired by Chinese myth and the symbolism of heavenly protection.
- Forever Bond (5-star): A poisonous talisman outfit with ghostly visual effects and haunting photo mode interactions, rooted in the legend of the spirit cat.
- Danqing Craft (Ability outfit): Grants the power to restore ink-faded items, restoring beauty to the world through Nikki’s creativity.
