To celebrate the upcoming release of Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four: First Steps, Kabam is going all-in with a multiverse-sized rollout of fan-focused events and in-game content for its long-running mobile fighter Marvel Contest of Champions.
Between hands-on demo stations at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and brand-new gameplay modes featuring the Fantastic Four themselves, it’s a great time to jump (or punch) into the Battlerealm.
Fantastic Four Fan Events – July 24–25 in Hollywood
Marvel fans attending early screenings of First Steps at the El Capitan Theatre (July 24–25, 6:30–7:15 PM PDT) will get access to game demo stations featuring an exclusive Fantastic Four vs. Silver Surfer challenge. Those who beat the Surfer can walk away with a limited-edition H.E.R.B.I.E. pin as a reward. There’ll also be other on-site activations to get moviegoers hyped before the screening begins.
New Limited-Time Game Mode: Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle (Starts July 24)
Launching alongside the film is Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle, a brand-new game mode that dives deep into the multiverse with the Fantastic Four.
This limited-time experience features:
- New quest mechanics, including multiple enemies at once
- A casual-friendly autoplay mode
- A dedicated energy system (no need to spend regular Energy)
- Fresh art, music, and multiversal chaos
- The Fantastic Four facing off against a swarm of Doombots
- Special rewards themed around Fantastic Four: First Steps
Now Live: Squad Builder – Fantastic Force Recruitment Event
If you’re new to MCoC, this is the perfect time to jump in. The Squad Builder side quest runs through August 6 and offers a completely new gameplay loop:
- Form your highest-scoring squad based on Factions and Grades
- Perform up to three swaps to optimize your lineup
- Fight the boss and lock in your score
- 52 free maxed-out 2-star Champions are provided to all players for use in the event
This mode is fast, strategic, and a ton of fun—ideal for veterans and new players alike.
