Kabam, the developers behind the widely successful mobile title Marvel Contest of Champions, have announced a new mobile real-time RPG for mobile devices: Marvel Realm of Champions. This new title takes place on Battleworld, where the death of the God King Maestro shatters a fragile peace between the House of Iron (led by Iron Man), the Spider-Guild (led by Spider-Man), the Patriot Garrison (led by Captain America), and Pyramid X (run by the X-Men). Players will join a faction and battle with and against other players to gather resources and power for their chosen team.
Gabriel Frizzera, Art and Creative Director for both Marvel Contest of Champions and Marvel Realm of Champions, commented on the announcement:
“Working with Marvel on Contest of Champions is a dream for Kabam, and we could not be more proud of the experiences we built together. While MARVEL Contest of Champions continues to grow with years of content down the pipeline, MARVEL Realm of Champions will take players from the Battlerealm’s one-on-one duels to the Battleworld’s global skirmishes for complete territorial control in the name of their House.”
