First Break Labs and developer Underwater Fire Games have announced that Particle Hearts, an atmospheric puzzle-adventure game set in a shimmering world made entirely of particles, will officially launch on August 25 for Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation 5.
The release date was revealed in a new gameplay trailer, which showcases the game’s striking visual style and intricate environmental puzzles. Particle Hearts is available for wishlist now on Steam.
Explore a World Where Everything Moves and Breathes
In Particle Hearts, players awaken in a mysterious world built entirely from shifting particles—both mesmerizing and dangerous. You’ll gradually unlock multiple abilities that let you manipulate this particle-based environment: bending matter to open paths, evade hostile entities, or reveal long-hidden secrets.
The game leans into a nonlinear, exploratory structure, allowing players to roam freely through open-ended puzzle zones and discover the strange stories of those who inhabit them.
Key Features:
- Solve environmental puzzles by manipulating particle matter in creative ways
- Gain new abilities to reshape your surroundings and uncover hidden paths
- Evade enemies with stealth and clever use of your powers
- Piece together a mysterious, morally grey narrative where every ally may be hiding something
