Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the… dental clinic? Shark Dentist, the newest nightmare fuel from UAE-based indie developer Alice Games, has been revealed for PC. The game puts you face-to-face (or mouth-to-mouth) with awake-but-not-quite-sedated sharks, as you’re tasked with performing high-stakes dental procedures that could leave you toothless—or headless.
Inspired by Buckshot Roulette and similar bite-sized (but lethal) horror games, Shark Dentist combines tense surgical gameplay, dark humor, and roguelike chaos into one of the weirdest and most uncomfortable horror experiences in recent memory. Players take on the role of an underground dentist in a rust-stained clinic, where the only thing more unreliable than the flickering lights is your anesthetic supply.
Drill Carefully—Or Die Screaming
Each procedure begins with a new shark patient, chained to the ceiling and very much ready to bite your face off. Your job? Remove infected teeth, drill cavities, and manage pain and stress levels while keeping an eye on vitals, sedation levels, and your rapidly depleting supply of tools.
Slip up? The shark snaps awake with a terrifying jump scare and tears you to pieces.
Every round brings new tools, randomized debuffs, and unpredictable patient reactions that keep the gameplay fresh and terrifyingly tense.
Key Features
- Sharks with Teeth—and Attitude: They’re never truly asleep. Keep calm and steady or end up as chum.
- Roguelike Progression: Each playthrough features new dental disasters, toolsets, and hazards.
- Interactive Equipment: Use dental tools like drills, mirrors, pliers, or circular saws (yes, really).
- Multitask or Die: Monitor sedation, apply meds, fix broken tools, and extract teeth under pressure.
- Jump Scare Central: One false move and it’s game over—with gory flair.
A Viral Horror Hit in the Making?
Shark Dentist leans hard into streamable horror—quick runs, horrifying outcomes, and that perfect blend of screams and laughter that made Buckshot Roulette a phenomenon. With its grotesque atmosphere, roguelike unpredictability, and tongue-in-cheek presentation, Shark Dentist may be the next viral nightmare you can’t stop playing.
Shark Dentist is “coming soon” to PC. It’s available to wishlist now on Steam. To stay updated, follow the developers on X, join the official Discord, and keep your drill steady.
