Mobile gaming studio Avia is celebrating its ninth anniversary in a big way—by giving back to animals in need. The award-winning developer announced a partnership with the Nevada SPCA, a no-kill animal shelter, for a charity initiative called “Play for Paws.” The campaign runs from August through early September, featuring in-game events, donations, livestreams, and volunteer opportunities to raise awareness and funds for sheltered animals.
Gaming for a Cause
Starting August 24, Avia’s most popular titles, Solitaire Clash and Bingo Tour, will host in-game charity events where players can collect “Dry Food” items to feed real-life rescue animals currently housed at Nevada SPCA. For every in-game feeding action, Avia will donate funds directly to the shelter. Players can also learn about the featured animals, share their stories across social media, and help raise adoption awareness.

Celebrating With a Charity Bake-Off
On September 1, the celebration continues with Avia’s 9th Anniversary Charity Bake-off. Hosted in collaboration with pet influencers TheGoodHype, the event will see competitors whip up animal-themed desserts in a livestreamed showdown. Fans can tune in through Solitaire Clash, as well as TheGoodHype’s YouTube and Facebook channels, for a lighthearted celebration of animals, gaming, and giving back.

The Nevada SPCA praised Avia’s efforts, highlighting the importance of raising both funds and awareness for shelter pets.
