Dogpile Revealed: A Roguelike Deckbuilder Where You Merge Dogs Into Bigger Dogs

Studio Folly (Gubbins, Real Bird Fake Bird) and Toot Games (My Arms Are Longer Now) have announced their first joint project: Dogpile, a roguelike deckbuilder all about turning your growing pack of pups into the ultimate canine combo machine. The game was revealed alongside a brand-new trailer, with publishing support from WINGS and audio design by A Shell in the Pit.

Roguelike Deckbuilding, But With Dogs

At its core, Dogpile is about playing dog cards, merging them into bigger dogs, and customizing them with traits and abilities to refine your deck. Players will need to carefully manage their cluttered kennel, upgrade dogs along the way, and find synergies that turn a pile of pups into something much greater (and much bigger).

Customize and Train Your Pack

Each dog comes with quirks like Barky, Sleepy, Timid, or Cool, which can be expanded further at the Dog Wash. Dog Tags serve as modifiers, boosting certain traits and opening the door to wild combinations. Finding the right synergy between traits and tags can make all the difference when building toward your ultimate goal: the BIGGEST dogs.

Quirky Combos and Canine Chaos

Beyond simple upgrades, Dogpile thrives on game-breaking synergies. With a wide mix of traits, tags, and upgrade options, every run offers new opportunities to experiment with clever (and often chaotic) combos. It’s about managing the madness while embracing the absurd fun of stacking and merging endlessly growing dogs.
