Dragon Quest Smash/Grow Brings Roguelite RPG Action to Mobile in 2026

Square Enix has revealed the latest entry in the beloved Dragon Quest series: Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, a new roguelite RPG coming to mobile devices in 2026. Players can now pre-register for the upcoming closed beta test, which begins this October.

Smash, Grow, and Finish with a Coup de Grâce

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow introduces a fresh twist on the classic franchise formula. Players will smash through waves of monsters, grow stronger with each battle, and unleash devastating Coup de Grâce attacks inspired by the series’ signature finishing moves.

The roguelite design ensures that no two quests are the same. Along the way, players can pick from a variety of random Blessings, offering unique character upgrades and strategic paths that adapt to each run.
