Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have announced that Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered will launch on March 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new trailer showcasing the remaster’s upgraded visuals and massive-scale action.
A Defining Entry, Reforged
Originally released in 2001, Dynasty Warriors 3 became a landmark title for the franchise, introducing series staples such as True Musou Attacks, two-player simultaneous play, and the officer development system. It also became the first title in the franchise to sell more than one million copies worldwide.
Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered rebuilds the original game in Unreal Engine 5, bringing back more than 40 playable officers and numerous large-scale battlefields in stunning modern detail. The gameplay aims to preserve the tactical, 1 vs. 1,000 combat that defined the entry while refining movement and combat for a more exhilarating feel.
Xtreme Legends Content Included
This Complete Edition also integrates all content from Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends. The expansion adds:
- Seven additional officer storylines, including fan favorites like Lu Bu, Meng Huo, and Yuan Shao.
- Bodyguard customization for added tactical variety.
- New weapons to expand combat strategies.
- Four challenge modes, offering unique ways to test your skills on the battlefield.
