SEGA has announced that Muzan Kibutsuji, the first and most powerful demon in the Demon Slayer universe, is now a playable character in Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2. Players can unlock him for free via the latest content update and take him into Versus Mode, both offline and online.
This marks the first time players can wield Muzan’s devastating powers firsthand, adding a major new dimension to competitive play.
Infinity Castle Character Pass revealed
Alongside Muzan’s arrival, SEGA also unveiled the Infinity Castle Character Pass, a paid DLC expansion inspired by the ongoing Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle movie. Beginning this fall, players can expect a steady rollout of new characters tied to the dramatic storyline.
The full lineup includes:
- Tanjiro Kamado (Infinity Castle)
- Zenitsu Agatsuma (Infinity Castle)
- Giyu Tomioka (Infinity Castle)
- Shinobu Kocho (Infinity Castle)
- Doma
- Akaza (Infinity Castle)
- Kaigaku
Kaigaku will be the first character released as part of the pass, with Zenitsu (Infinity Castle) arriving soon after. Each fighter will also be available individually for purchase.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 continues to expand with fan-favorite characters and new content that mirrors the anime’s latest arcs. SEGA promises more details, including exact release dates for each DLC character, in the weeks ahead.
