Dangen Entertainment and Rastrolabs have released a brand-new trailer and demo for RoadOut, a post-apocalyptic action RPG that blends vehicular combat, racing, and dungeon crawling into one chaotic ride. Scheduled for release in Q1 2025 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, RoadOut aims to combine the best of The Legend of Zelda, GTA, and Rock n’ Roll Racing into a story-driven adventure packed with action.
Watch the RoadOut: Into the Dead Zone trailer and try the updated demo on Steam and Xbox, which showcases a hefty slice of gameplay from car combat and faction clashes to puzzle-filled dungeon exploration.
Racing Through the Dead Zone
In RoadOut, players take control of mercenary Claire as she fights for survival in The Dead Zone, a harsh wasteland ruled by gang factions and overseen by a mysterious A.I. Between sabotage missions, assassination contracts, and black-market dealings, Claire must unravel secrets from her past that tie directly to the origins of the world-shattering A.I.
The gameplay splits between high-octane racing and dungeon crawling: customize your ride with weapons and upgrades, then hop out on foot for twin-stick combat, puzzles, and story progression.
