The team behind skate. has detailed the latest community update, The Grind: Vol. 6, which offers a preview of what’s coming to the skating sim. The update highlights the game’s first visual lighting improvements, giving San Van a more grounded look with less harsh contrast. These tweaks mark the first step toward the game’s evolving art style, with more refinements planned based on player feedback.
Season 1 Brings Events, Brands, and Soundtrack Additions
With Season 1, players can expect fresh skateable areas, challenges, and community events like Skate-o-ween and Maple Harvest. New cosmetic options and partnerships with iconic brands like Santa Cruz, Independent, and Creature are also on the way. The soundtrack expands with classic tracks from Operation Ivy and Jurassic 5, alongside bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
