The Hearth & Harbour Announced: Narrative Restaurant Management RPG from The Pale Beyond Devs

Indie publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Saltstone Studio (known for The Pale Beyond) have unveiled their latest project, The Hearth & Harbour. This upcoming story-driven restaurant management RPG invites players to restore a failing eatery in a bustling harbor town, all while a looming war casts shadows over the community. The game is set to launch on PC via Steam.

Welcome to Lewthport and The Silver Spoon

In The Hearth & Harbour, players arrive in the harbor city of Lewthport, seeking a new life after leaving their homeland behind. At the heart of your journey lies The Silver Spoon, a rundown restaurant in desperate need of revival. With a heavy loan on your shoulders and the support of a tight-knit community, the success of your reopening will determine your place in Lewthport.

The restaurant isn’t just a business; it’s a vital hub for locals, nourishing them both socially and literally. Every choice you make, from your menu to your staff, shapes how the community grows and interacts with you.

Build Relationships, Shape Stories

Unlike traditional management sims, The Hearth & Harbour ties your restaurant’s growth directly to the relationships you form with townsfolk. Building bonds and sourcing ingredients affect the meals you serve, which in turn determine who visits, what patrons you meet, and which branching story arcs unfold.

You’ll decide whether to turn The Silver Spoon into a cozy community diner or a refined culinary destination. With turn-based tactical service gameplay, you’ll juggle hungry guests, staff morale, and finances all while diving deeper into Lewthport’s interconnected stories.

More Than Food on the Menu

Featuring a blend of adventure, strategy, and strong character-driven storytelling, The Hearth & Harbour delivers more than restaurant management. Every dish, every decision, and every relationship ripples outward, shaping not just your restaurant’s future but your place in a city on the brink of change.
