Indie narrative label Fellow Traveller and developer sunset visitor have announced that their Peabody Award-winning sci-fi adventure 1000xRESIST will launch on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on November 4, 2025. The new release will also feature expanded localization support, adding Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Korean to the already available language options, making the acclaimed story accessible to even more players worldwide.
A Dystopian Future and a Fractured Truth
Set 1,000 years in the future, 1000xRESIST places players in the role of Iris, a “Watcher” tasked with reliving the memories of the enigmatic ALLMOTHER, the ruler of a society driven underground after a mysterious alien race, the Occupants, brings a devastating plague that nearly eradicates humanity.
Iris is one of six “Sisters,” each created to serve a distinct purpose in the ALLMOTHER’s new world. But when one Sister dares to question their leader’s divine authority and is executed for treason, Iris begins to unravel the web of lies surrounding her existence and humanity’s supposed salvation.
