This week’s Warframe DevShorts brought fresh updates from Soulframe creative director Geoff Crookes and Warframe creative director Rebecca Ford. The highlight announcement was that the next full Devstream will take place on September 25 at 2 p.m. ET across Warframe’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
Players can expect new reveals around Warframe on Android, details about the Fall update, and the long-awaited introduction of the 62nd Warframe. The stream will also spotlight the new “The Teacher” mod tutorial Quest, designed to help new players get up to speed.
Arsenal Customization Upgrade
One major quality-of-life feature previewed ahead of the Fall update is an expansion to customization options in the Arsenal. Players will soon have double the space for favorite marked colors when designing Warframes, armor attachments, and weapons.
Operation: Plague Star Returns
Veterans and newcomers alike can dive into Operation: Plague Star, one of Warframe’s most iconic recurring events. By speaking to Konzu in Cetus, players can take on the Plague Star Bounty to defend against Infested swarms in the Plains of Eidolon. Rewards will be available until September 24 at 11 a.m. ET.
Soulframe Community Streams Incoming
Meanwhile, Digital Extremes is ramping up Soulframe community engagement with a new weekly livestream series, Envoy Hour. Similar to Warframe’s Prime Time, this series will air every Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET on Soulframe’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, with different special guests each week.
