Bandai Namco and Media.Vision has announced the first major DLC for Digimon Story Time Stranger, titled Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension, launching this winter for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
This expansion introduces new Digivolution routes for several Mega Digimon, including BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, Omnimon Zwart Defeat, and Omnimon Alter-B, alongside a special questline that spans across timelines and alternate realities. Players will encounter familiar faces and new challenges as they uncover secrets that connect the human and digital worlds.
A Story Across Time and Space
The Alternate Dimension episode continues Time Stranger’s signature blend of emotional storytelling and strategic RPG combat. The new storyline links multiple points in Digimon history, allowing players to revisit iconic eras and explore how timelines collide.
Players who own the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of Digimon Story Time Stranger will receive the DLC as part of their bundle. Others can purchase it separately or as part of the game’s Season Pass.
Building Bonds and Evolving Together
Originally released earlier this year, Digimon Story Time Stranger is already one of the best-selling entries in the franchise. The game takes place between the human world and Iliad, a digital realm on the brink of collapse. Players must tame, train, and evolve their Digimon partners to protect both worlds while unraveling a mystery that spans time itself.
The RPG features over 450 Digimon, deep customization systems, and a reworked turn-based battle system that rewards strategy and teamwork. It’s designed as both a continuation for fans and a welcoming entry point for newcomers to the series.
Availability
The Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension DLC will launch this winter for all platforms. Players will need the base game to access the new content.
