Ten years after its original launch, Fallout 4 is back in its most complete form yet. Bethesda Game Studios has released Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, now available worldwide on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Steam, and PC.
Celebrating a decade since the 2015 Game of the Year, the Anniversary Edition collects the base game, all six official DLC add-ons, and more than 150 Creation Club items, including fan favorites and previously unreleased content. It’s the ultimate way for both new wanderers and long-time Vault Dwellers to return to the Commonwealth.
What’s Inside the Anniversary Edition
The new edition compiles everything that’s defined Fallout 4 over the past decade, from Far Harbor and Nuka-World to a treasure trove of official mods via the Creation Club. The result is a massive, feature-rich version of the game that can easily deliver 100+ hours of exploration, crafting, and survival gameplay.
Players can expect to find hundreds of new weapons, armor sets, workshops, and cosmetic upgrades alongside the series’ iconic branching quests and settlement-building systems.
Introducing Creations: A New Way to Mod
Launching alongside the Anniversary Edition is the Creations menu, a brand-new, in-game system for discovering, downloading, and managing content from both professional developers and community creators.
This feature streamlines the process of customizing Fallout 4 by bringing together the Creation Club and mod communities into a single accessible hub. The Creations menu will be available to all existing Fallout 4 owners across platforms.
Upgrade Options and Future Release
For existing owners of the Standard Edition or Game of the Year Edition, upgrade paths are available to access the new content. Players on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus can also upgrade their versions to gain access to all six DLC expansions and the full Creation Club library.
Bethesda also confirmed that Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will make its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, bringing the wasteland to a new generation of portable players.
Looking Back — and Forward
Since its original 2015 release, Fallout 4 has remained one of Bethesda’s most celebrated RPGs, earning over 200 “Best Of” awards, including Game of the Year honors from BAFTA and D.I.C.E.. The Anniversary Edition serves as both a celebration and a testament to its enduring legacy, a chance for fans to rediscover the Commonwealth, rebuilt and reimagined.
