Iridium Studios and Annapurna Interactive have announced the full voice ensemble for People of Note, their upcoming turn-based RPG musical, alongside confirmation that the game will also launch on Nintendo Switch 2. The news will be formally unveiled via an Xbox Wire blog, giving fans a closer look at the game’s characters and performers ahead of its 2026 release.
A New Musical Moment Featuring Cadence and Fret
The announcement is accompanied by a fresh look at one of People of Note’s musical numbers, spotlighting a scene where protagonist Cadence attempts to recruit classic rocker Fret into her growing band. The sequence highlights the game’s blend of turn-based RPG systems and fully voiced musical storytelling, a defining feature of the project.
A Star-Studded Voice Ensemble
People of Note features an extensive cast of voice actors and singers, bringing its genre-spanning cast of characters to life across the world of Note.
Cadence, the game’s pop star protagonist, is voiced by Heather Gonzalez, with singing performed by LEXXE. After being shut out of the Noteworthy Song Contest, Cadence sets out to form a band of her own, only to become entangled in events far larger and more dangerous than she ever anticipated.
Jason Charles Miller voices Fret, a veteran rocker living a quiet solo life in Durandis, the Kingdom of Rock and Roll, after years of experience and loss in the music scene.
Synthia is voiced by Erika Ishii, with vocals by Amanda Angeles. An introverted extrovert, Synthia is reserved offstage but transforms behind the DJ booth, though lingering doubts about their success still haunt them.
Mansa “Wakil” Wakili voices Vox, the thoughtful son of Pyre’s regent, Caliq. Vox believes rap should be about more than conflict, but his ideals will be tested when he’s forced to fight for what matters most.
Cerrin, voiced by Marwan Salama, is polite and respectful on the surface, though he isn’t afraid to bend the rules when the situation calls for it.
Arc is voiced by Alex Boniello, a sharp and flirtatious prodigy shaped by an oppressive upbringing. Always wearing a knowing smirk, Arc often understands more than he lets on.
Joe Zieja voices Sharp, an egotistical manager who believes 80s music—and his own—is the pinnacle of artistic achievement. As the handler of Chordia’s hottest boy band, Sharp’s motivations may not be as transparent as he claims.
Anthony, voiced by Griffin Burns, is the charismatic frontman of Smolder. While he’s one of the most recognizable figures in pop music and holds the powerful Chordian Key of Note, he mostly treats it as another fashion accessory.
Lasso is voiced by Sean Kenin Elias-Reyes, with singing by Drew Rider Smith. As the leader of the Homestead, the nation of country music, Lasso commands respect and understands that leadership sometimes requires difficult choices.
Debra Wilson voices Martell, the Homestead’s second-in-command and a formidable presence in her own right. Calm, dangerous, and razor-sharp beneath her politeness, Martell embodies the phrase “Bless Your Heart.”
Annette, the grand diva of the Archaia Grand Opera, is voiced by Erica Lindbeck with vocals by Elizabeth Zharoff. One of the most talented singers in all of Note, Annette never performs without her cherished lucky pearls.
