Cinderia Enters Steam Early Access With Fast-Paced Roguelite Action

Cinderia is now available in Steam Early Access, with developer MyACG Studio launching its dark fantasy roguelite for $17.99 and opening the door to ongoing updates shaped by player feedback.

Set in a ruined world consumed by fire and corruption, Cinderia blends fast action combat with build variety and randomized progression. It is pitching a familiar roguelite loop, but wrapping it in a heavier fairytale-inspired setting built around ash, black magic, and a world that has already burned down.

A dark fantasy world built from ruin

The setup for Cinderia leans hard into bleak fantasy. The world has already fallen, ancient powers are gone, and kingdoms have been reduced to scorched remains. Players take control of one of the few people capable of resisting the corruption spreading across the land, using a dangerous power tied to black magic without losing themselves to it.

That premise gives the game a stronger identity than many roguelites that rely on style without much atmosphere to back it up. Whether the story itself lands is another question, but the setting at least sounds like it is trying to do more than just justify repeated runs.

Combat and build variety look like the main draw

The real hook in Cinderia is its combat system and build flexibility. MyACG Studio says players can shape their fighting style through combinations of embers, spellcards, skills, and equipment, letting each run develop in a different direction.

The game supports a range of approaches, from close-range blades to heavier weapons like cannons, as well as frost-based attacks and other magical options. That kind of variety is standard for the genre now, so the challenge will be making those choices feel meaningfully different rather than just filling out a system sheet.

Still, the numbers are large enough to suggest there is plenty to experiment with. Cinderia launches with four playable characters, each tied to a unique pool of more than 180 skills, alongside 130-plus equipment pieces that can be mixed with combos and passive effects.

Randomized runs and regular updates are part of the plan

Like most Early Access roguelites, Cinderia is leaning on repeatability and post-launch growth. The game includes randomized room types and events that change the route of each run, while the studio says players can expect frequent updates, new content, and balancing changes during Early Access.

That is the usual promise, and it is the right one for a game in this phase. The bigger issue is whether the base game is strong enough now to justify jumping in early, because frequent updates only matter if the core combat and progression already work.

Early Access starts now

For players looking for another action roguelite with a darker fantasy tone, Cinderia at least has a solid visual and thematic pitch. It is entering a crowded genre, so it will need more than grim worldbuilding and a lot of skill combinations to stand out, but the Early Access launch gives it room to sharpen what is already there.

Cinderia is out now in Steam Early Access for $17.99.
