Capcom Moves Pragmata Release Date to April 17 and Launches Free Demo

During the latest Capcom Spotlight broadcast, Capcom shared a major update for its long-awaited sci-fi adventure Pragmata, confirming the game will now launch slightly earlier than expected. The mysterious action-adventure will arrive on April 17, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Alongside the new release date, Capcom debuted fresh gameplay footage that showcases previously unseen areas of the game’s lunar setting. Players will explore the harsh surface of the moon and a surprisingly lush greenhouse-like sector within the station itself. These new environments introduce additional threats and challenges as the protagonists, Hugh and Diana, attempt to escape the facility and return safely to Earth.

New Shelter Features and Customization

The latest trailer also revealed additional systems tied to the game’s central hub area, known as the Shelter. Here, players encounter Cabin, a support robot responsible for various base operations. Cabin allows players to access a Stamp Club where Cabin Coins can be exchanged for rewards and bonuses by completing stamp boards.

The Shelter also functions as a place to customize equipment and cosmetic items. Players can change the background music through Cabin’s jukebox while unlocking additional tracks over time. Deluxe Edition content will also be accessible here, including new costumes, weapon skins, Diana gestures, and extra artwork.

Capcom also released a free Pragmata Sketchbook demo across digital storefronts, giving players their first hands-on opportunity with the game’s unique gameplay systems.

Pre-orders for the full game are now live and include bonus cosmetics such as the samurai-inspired Neo Bushido outfit for Hugh and the ninja-themed Neo Kunoichi costume for Diana.

Pragmata launches April 17, 2026.
