Atari and Fabraz have released the Bubsy 4D demo on consoles ahead of the game’s full launch on May 22, 2026. The demo is now available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation, and Xbox, joining its earlier PC release on Steam and GOG.
The new demo gives players an early look at the upcoming platformer, which launches later this spring on consoles and PC.
Three Levels Available in the Demo
According to Atari, the Bubsy 4D demo includes the game’s first three levels. That sample is meant to introduce players to Bubsy’s movement set and the game’s overall tone before release.
Bubsy 4D is described as an expressive platformer built around running, jumping, gliding, and rolling across a range of themed planets. The game also includes customization options, giving players ways to personalize the experience as they move through its colorful settings.
A New Bubsy Platformer from Atari and Fabraz

The new demo rollout broadens access across all major console platforms less than a month before launch.
