Rivage has released a new story trailer and its first public demo on PC via Steam, publisher Raw Fury and developer Exnilo Studio announced during the Galaxies Gaming Showcase.
The new trailer and demo offer a closer look at the first-person sci-fi puzzle game, which follows Miranda as she investigates the disappearance of the crew aboard the A.R.E.S. space station.
A sci-fi puzzle game set aboard a stranded space station
Set in the 25th century, Rivage takes place on a detailed space station caught in a cosmic time loop. As Miranda, players search for answers about the missing crew while trying to escape the distortions affecting the station.
The game’s world is built around environmental interaction, with players examining objects, research data, notes, and logs left behind across the abandoned station.
Story and puzzles tied together through the time loop
According to Raw Fury, Rivage blends narrative exploration with puzzle-solving, with each cycle through the time loop helping players uncover more about the station and its crew.
Puzzles involve repairing systems, realigning mechanisms, and working through challenges tied to gravity, magnetism, and time. The game also includes the K9 System, which lets Miranda retain certain discoveries and puzzle progress between loops.
