Red Moon Workshop has released the first official gameplay trailer for Shot One Fighters, a single-player 2.5D fighting game roguelite. The new trailer introduces the game’s cast, build-focused combat, boss fights, and run-based structure ahead of an upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
The game was developed in collaboration with fighting game community figures Justin Wong and JMCrofts.
A Fighting Game Built Like a Roguelite
Shot One Fighters blends fighting game mechanics with roguelite progression. Players build their character’s moveset during each run, adding combos, counters, gap closers, and other tools that directly shape how they fight.
The game will feature more than 100 moves across three characters, with streamlined controls designed for both fighting game players and newcomers.
Artifacts, Events, and a Mech Hub
Runs are also shaped by more than 100 artifacts that can change how fights play out. Players will encounter over 60 events and NPCs across the game’s intergalactic journey.
Between runs, players will rebuild and populate a large mech hub, which serves as a home base and a major setting for the story.
Wishlist Available Now
Shot One Fighters is available to wishlist now on Steam. Red Moon Workshop has also opened a Kickstarter follow page ahead of the campaign’s launch.
