Hyperyuki: Snowboard Syndicate Shows Off Arcade Snowboarding in New Trailer

Acclaim and Wabisabi Games have released a new gameplay trailer for Hyperyuki: Snowboard Syndicate during the Latin American Games Showcase. The trailer highlights the arcade snowboarding game’s fast tracks, big tricks, colorful cast, and multiplayer modes.

The game is coming to Steam and modern consoles.

A Throwback to Y2K Extreme Sports Games

Hyperyuki: Snowboard Syndicate is inspired by high-speed extreme sports games like SSX and Jet Grind Radio. Developed by Mexican indie studio Wabisabi Games, the game blends arcade snowboarding, over-the-top style, and trick-heavy racing.

The new trailer shows ramp-filled courses, rail grinding, boost-building tricks, and a mix of playable characters, including a sentient snowboarding taco.

Challenge, Race, Chill, and Multiplayer Modes

The game will include several modes built around different playstyles. Challenge mode focuses on objectives, score chasing, collectibles, and leaderboard ranks, while Race mode has players speeding down slopes against NPCs or other players.

Players can also use Chill mode to explore tracks at a relaxed pace and look for secrets. Multiplayer will support online play for up to 8 players and local split-screen.
