Hyperyuki: Snowboard Syndicate has revealed new courses and playable riders, including a giant snowboarding kaiju. Publisher Acclaim debuted the gameplay trailer during The Mix: Fall Online Showcase ahead of the arcade snowboarding game’s 2027 release on Steam and consoles.
Developed by Mexican indie studio Wabisabi Games, the team behind RKGK / Rakugaki, Hyperyuki draws on SSX, Jet Grind Radio, and the excess of late-’90s and early-2000s extreme sports games.
Ride Through Volcanoes and Ice Caves
The trailer introduces an active volcano and shimmering ice caves, expanding the courses available for racing, grinding, and chaining tricks.
The riders are equally unconventional. Alongside the newly shown kaiju, the game lets you hit the slopes as a sentient taco.
Chase Scores, Race Friends, or Take It Easy
Challenge mode tasks you with completing objectives, collecting trinkets, and performing tricks to climb the leaderboards.
Race mode puts you against NPCs or other players, with tricks filling your boost meter. Chill mode removes the rush, offering endless riding and opportunities to explore the tracks for secrets.
Multiplayer supports up to eight online players, plus local split-screen play.
New Demo Coming Soon
Acclaim says a new demo is coming soon, but it hasn’t announced a date.
Hyperyuki: Snowboard Syndicate launches on Steam and consoles in 2027.
