Developer Mythwright revealed the first co-op trailer for Kaiju Cleanup during the Six One Indie Showcase, giving players a look at how the monster cleanup simulator will play with friends.
The new footage also offers a look at additional environments, including a ruined subway area built around the remains of a dead tunneling Kaiju.
Clean Up Giant Monster Disasters Together
Kaiju Cleanup puts players in the role of cleanup crews tasked with restoring cities after giant monster attacks. Players can tackle missions alone or with 2-4 player online co-op, taking on hazardous disaster zones left behind after battles with enormous creatures.
Teams will carve up monster remains, remove dangerous materials, extract toxic organs, and powerwash the destruction left in a Kaiju’s wake.
Upgrade Gear and Build a Cleanup Business
As players complete contracts, they can improve their tools and customize equipment while growing KaijuCorp from a small operation into a larger cleanup company.
The game includes a range of specialized tools, such as a claw designed to extract monster organs, laser cutters for carving through Kaiju remains, and equipment for removing dangerous substances scattered across each work site.
Kaiju Cleanup is currently available to wishlist on Steam, with playtest sign-ups also open.
