Tokyo Stories Development Update Reveals New Publisher and Partner Studio

The Tokyo Stories development team has shared an update after a long period of silence, confirming that development is still moving forward under a new publishing and production structure.

Drecom will continue handling planning and development on the project, while Happinet Corporation has joined as the game’s publisher.

CharacterBank Joins as Development Partner

The team also announced that CharacterBank Inc. has joined Tokyo Stories as a development partner. According to the update, CharacterBank will support the project with additional development capabilities as the team continues working toward release.

Producer and Director Yuki Ikeda and Art Director Seiichi Terashima will remain at the core of the project.

Development Continues Toward Release

The developers said Tokyo Stories will continue pursuing the original vision behind the game while moving forward under the strengthened structure. No release date was announced, but the update included new screenshots from the current development.
