Rocket Panda Games has announced Cresata, a side-scrolling action platformer coming to PC and consoles in 2027 through a partnership with Shatter Flask Games and acttil. Formerly known as Revenant’s Reach, the game will also feature voice talent from Aleks Le and Ben Starr.
The official Kickstarter page is now live, with the full campaign set to begin funding in late 2026.
A Revenge Story With Retro Roots
Inspired by Strider, Castlevania, and modern platformers like Celeste, Cresata focuses on fast combat, grappling movement, and a revenge-driven story.
Players take on the role of Phaedon of Arsica, who is betrayed, imprisoned, and left for dead after a rebellion. After escaping, he sets out to hunt down those responsible before they claim an ancient power hidden inside the ruins of a cursed metropolis.
Grappling Through Pixel-Crushed Stages
Phaedon fights using the Crescent Claw, a weapon that can strike in any direction and double as a traversal tool. Players can tether across environments, use Cresata Arts, and push through themed biomes packed with enemies and bosses.
The team describes the movement as easy to grasp but hard to master, with combat built around speed, precision, and stylish 2D character designs.
Aleks Le and Ben Starr Join the Cast
Aleks Le will voice Phaedon while also serving as co-producer and casting director. Le is known for roles in Solo Leveling, Street Fighter 6, and Demon Slayer.
Ben Starr, known for Final Fantasy XVI and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, will voice the Prime Reclaimer, one of the game’s key antagonists. Rocket Panda Games says Le personally selected Starr for the role.
Kickstarter Campaign Coming Later This Year
Fans can wishlist Cresata on Steam now and follow the Kickstarter ahead of its full campaign launch in late 2026. Rocket Panda Games says the campaign will include creative rewards and stretch goals shaped by community feedback.
Cresata is planned for PC and consoles in 2027.
