Zymartu Games has announced that Fields of Aaru will appear during the Women-Led Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest with a new trailer and a Steam demo. The cozy open-world life sim is planned for PC in Q4 2026.
A Cozy Life Sim Set in the Ancient Egyptian Afterlife
Fields of Aaru takes players to an Ancient Egypt-inspired afterlife, where they can farm along the Nile, build a home, befriend villagers, and help restore a town that has fallen into disrepair.
Players will also learn ancient crafts like shaping stone, firing clay, and irrigating fields while building a daily routine around farming, fishing, gathering, and town quests.
Explore Ruins, Tombs, and Desert Oases
Beyond the Nile, players can travel into the desert to search for oases, ruins, pyramids, and tombs. Rare materials and lost knowledge found beneath the sand can be brought back to expand what players can craft and build.
Offerings to the Gods Unlock Powers
Players can find shrines across the world and make offerings to gods for boons. Ptah improves tools and crafting, Hapi boosts crop growth and harvests, and Sekhmet grants protection and combat strength for desert exploration.
Fields of Aaru is coming to Steam in Q4 2026.
