Capcom showed new Onimusha: Way of the Sword footage during Capcom Spotlight, giving players a first look at Dohatsu-ten, a fast and violent Genma warrior set to challenge Miyamoto Musashi.
The new enemy is described as a winged warrior from the depths of hell, cutting into the mortal realm before facing Musashi in an intense sword duel.
A New Duel for Musashi
Director Satoru Nihei introduced the new footage, which focuses on the game’s swordplay and boss combat. Dohatsu-ten appears built around speed and pressure, forcing players to read attacks and strike back during narrow openings.
The reveal adds another major enemy to the game’s roster of Genma threats, with Musashi once again standing against the demonic forces overrunning the world.
Demo and Pre-Orders Available
Pre-orders for Onimusha: Way of the Sword are available now and include the Sealed Curse sword skin and Lion Dog charm as bonuses.
Players can also try the game today through the free demo, available on PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Launching This September
